What do they call rubber sandals in your country?

You know them japanese sandals/ them sandals that are made of rubber that people usually wear to the beach? In New Zealand, they're called jandals, so what are they called in your country?

What do they call rubber sandals in your country?
If they have no backing, we call them rubber flip flops. If they have a backing, we call them rubber sandals. I am in the US. These shoes are good if you plan on getting wet since they are water proof. Normally they are not good quality though. People usually wear these to public showers, to wash their cars, or at the beach.
Reply:We call them 'Beach Sandal' (not sandals) in Japanese. And sometimes we call them 'B-San' in short. Geta which is a wooden sandals are called 'Geta' only. We usually don't call them 'sandals' in Japanese. I can say that again to Zouri as well. Report It

had some mates from canada visit and they looked at me like i had two heads when i suggested they buy some thongs to wear to the beach, but u shoulda seen'em when i offered to lend them mine!!!

some old people call them "thongs" but most people dont because thats what a type of underwear is called too.
