My husband and I were thinking about going to a Sandals resort for our anniversary. Which resort have you been to, and what are the pros/cons. Beaches resorts also interest us, because we have kids. Thanks a lot!!
Question about Sandals Resort?
We just returned from Sandals Negril. We had a blast. Beautiful Resort, great food, awesome beach.
We spent quite a few days at Beaches Negril, they have an awesome waterpark. We are in the process of planning our next vacation and it is a toss up between Beaches Negril or Beaches Turks and Caicos.
Reply:I suggest you go to TripAdvisor.com. You can read the amenities of every resort in Jamaica and can easily identify the ones that accept children. You will be able to read trip reports written by previous visitors, view "candid traveler photos" that some of them posted, and ask questions in the forums section. You can also check out the other attractions in the general area.
One resort you did not mention was Starfish Trelawny. It caters to children and will entertain them while mom and dad do whatever they want. Another one is FDR. Both of them are on the North coast between MoBay and Ocho Rios.
Reply:We honeymooned in Sandals Ocho Rios. It was a great experience. We look forward to going back for an anniversary. I really can't give you any cons. They took great care of us. Just about anything I can think of was included.
