Wedding at Sandals Bahamas?

I am thinking about having my wedding at the Sandals Bahamas resort. Does anyone have any first hand experience with this? What went wrong, what to look out for? I am not getting a good vibe when I speak with the people there. It will be a small event, less than 10 people. Can you recommend a different place in the Bahamas with a nice beach and not too expensive for a wedding? Thanks!

i am in the middle of planning my destination wedding at sandals montego bay. Go to tripadvisor.com they have reviews and real photos from people that have been there. (type in sandals Bahamas) in the search field.i would


recommend getting a travel agent as well mine was free,i ask her, she finds out from them, and that's less stress for me !!

Reply:I've noticed with my friends - those who spent ALOT of money on their weddings are now divorced. Just keep that in mind. Also - if you go to Hawaii on your honeymoon - you won't be married more than 5 years. Thats based on the people I know and people they know.
