Do clear sandals go with a gold dress?

I have to wear a gold/champagne dress for a wedding and was wondering if clear sandals with rhinestones would go with this dress?

Do clear sandals go with a gold dress?
it really doesn't sound like a good match, but I have stressed out over things like this for no reason. If it is a burden to get different shoes, just wear the clear sandals - no one really cares. I doubt anyone will go home saying "can you believe she wore those clear sandals with that gold dress!"
Reply:Yes! That would look great. You could also do beige, thats what I wore or even a gold that mathces but I would try clear to start with.
Reply:i suppose so but clear is a bit childish in my opinon. its like those gelly shoes little kids wear or like plastic hooker shoes. bad news. try black or an accent color that just looks good with it.
Reply:No
Reply:yes
Reply:Well, there's so many tones of gold that it's difficult to give a good answer without seeing the dress. I'd say yes if the gold/champagne dress has more tones of champagne and less tones of yellow. But then again what color are the rhinestones? Do they have the same colors in it that the dress has? If yes, thats a sure "go for it".
Reply:I am sure that clear sandals go with that gold dress of yours, but to tell you the truth, clear sandals look kinda cheap and tacky. But yes they would, unless they have silver on them.
Reply:No, I think you should get black shoes. Especially if the rhinestones r silver.
