My shoes smell, especially my sandals. How do you get the stank out?

My feet really don't skink but I've got two pairs of sandals that just reek. I've tried washing them. I've tried deodarant but still it remains. Other than buying new sandals does anyone have any suggestions.

Fabreeze?
Reply:try not to get them wet when your wearing them, this makes them stink.
Reply:Allpressan #10 will get the smell out, and so too will near ultraviolet light.
Reply:You need something to absorb the smell like Baking Soda or Charcoal. Also try leaving them in the sun for a week or so, that can get rid of the smell. There are also some special products available in pharmacys to treat smelly shoes.
Reply:Lysol will get the smell out of anything... just don't overdue it.
Reply:shower
Reply:The best way to get rid of a smell (stink!) in your shoes is to sprinkle baking soda on or in them. It's a natural way to rid unwanted odors from your clothing and shoes.
Reply:I ran into that recently with my tennis shoes. Try putting baking soda on your sandals and letting it sit until you wear them again.
Reply:2 products i use are ajax powder and greased lightning. ajax is good because it has bleach in it that kills bacteria (which make odor). if you cant use a bleaching agent..then use greased lightning.

use a toothbrush with either substance,,rinse well and set in sun to dry
Reply:Have you tried spraying them with cologne or perfume or something?
Reply:Have you tried Dr.Scholls foot inserts? They are made with charcoal which absorbs sweat..which causes odor. You don't want to spray anything inside of your shoes because that only masks the odor for a short period of time. Then you will have perfumy/stinky shoes,LOL.
Reply:start with better smelling feet!
Reply:Buy new ones cheap...my $15 dollar sandals have lasted 3 years and smell great
Reply:throw them away and get new ones
Reply:wash your feet daily, febreeze the sandals and hope for the best
