I borrowed the chaco sandals from my roommate and i thought they would be super comfortable...it started out ok, but then i realized that my feet really hurt in those things. i wonder if tevas are any better.
Do chacos sandals chaffe the soles of your feet?
Mmmm... In a sandy enviroment they do sometimes.. But the benefits far outweigh a little chafe. [All around water/desert/mountain utility sandal]
A little petro jelly should prevent that though [Works other places too].
Reply:it takes a little while to get used to the big toe strap, but they are great shoes. Chacos tend to form the foot, so wearing someone elses might not be the best. I used to run backpacking trips in the desert and used Tevas my first summer. They broke down after a couple of months. I bought a pair of Chacos and the lasted the final two summers i worked there and beyon. Quality wise, Chaco is light years ahead, and they are great w/ replacing or retreading.
Reply:Dear we simply cant judge a product after a single use. At the same time we cannot consider Chacos as better than Teva. It's totally unfair. Just think over how can Teva is having a high sales record if it's poor in quality. It's ur fault tat u opted ur friend's sandals. Size differs from person to person and this might b the reason for the uncomfortability.
