Is it ok to wear socks with sandals in US?

Socks with sandals worldwide?
anyone who wears socks with sandles around here I automatically think they come from England. It's not an Aussie thing to do. I couldn't imagine the people in US wearing that combination either.

Reply:It is never, ever ever acceptable to wear socks with sandals. OK. I take that back. Perhaps a trip to the emergency room God forbid. Thats you taking someone else- You know running out the door and all you can find is the pair you left at the door. But don't leave yourself the opportunity to be taken to the hospital wearing such, your treatment may depend on it. Good Lord. Come on people. Lets use our heads.
