I am thinking about getting married at the Sandals Negril Resort in Jamaica. If you have been, please tell me if you recomend or not.... Did you invite friends and family? Did you encounter any problems while there? Also, if anyone has pics or video clips of the actual ceremony they don't mind sharing that would be appreciated. Thanks!
Married at Sandals Negril Jamaica??
Go to " tripadvisor.com" and do a search for Sandals Negril. There is lots of reviews and pictures. Some were of a recent wedding
Reply:I agree that tripadvisor.com is an excellent source of info. My husband and I used it to help select our wedding destination. We got married at Sandals Dunns River Villagio in Jamaica. We loved it there. You cand find info on their "WeddingMoons" program on the Sandals website. If you stay 7 days, your wedding package is free for bride and groom and two guests. Beyond that, there are upgrades that you can pay for to include more guests at your reception, fancier flower packages, etc. For us, it was just the two of us. Sandals does not allow children, but WeddingMoons are offered at Beaches resorts also. Beaches are the family-oriented resorts by Sandals. One more thing- photo packages are expensive, but probably worth it. Ours turned out excellently. We got the pictures on a CD so we could make more copies for friends and family at home. Besides, photos will be expensive no matter where you get married.
Reply:I also work in the travel industry but I don't think Sandals is the best choice. They're known for bumping their guests which can ruin the entire experience. I'd suggest Couples Swept Away in Negril. I've been to both and can honestly say that I'd stay at Swept Away before spending any money on a Sandals resort.
