When you wear rubber sandals that strap on securely (e.g. tevas) do you have problem with feet sweating?

Yes I prefer to wear my teva type sandals but bottom of feet sweat in them and them walking produces a noise of wet foot swooshing on foot bed. Not to forget foot also slips off footbed. For this reason I have had to wear the god forbidden flip flop (in my book) to allow air to pass under soles of feet. Compromising the secure feeling of strap on sandals and going for what I consider to be a less stylish look.

Reply:Try antiperspirant spray. I hate wearing sandals (so I%26#039;ve not tried antiperspirant for this purpose), but I think this idea would work.

Reply:for the sweating try spraying aerosol spray deodorant(i use secret in a can) on the bottoms of your feet and in between your toes.

Reply:I would never wear rubber shoes ever..ever..ever! First of all tevas are ugly! Second of all I cant stand sweating feet in my shoes making swooshing noise...yuck!


Get some normal shoes aka non rubber sandals! :)
