Stinky sandals?

In the summer time, I can%26#039;t stand wearing socks and am constantly wearing a nice pair of flip flops. After wearing a pair of flip flops for a week or so, they start to stink and I%26#039;m quite embarassed others will smell them. Can I do anything to avoid stinky sandals?

Stinky sandals?
Try using some freebeze, also maybe put a little baby powder on them or on your feet to help absorb the miosture.
Reply:Stop wearing socks, with Flip Flops.

Threw, them away and keep buying new pairs.
Reply:Wash your feet everyday!
Reply:wash them with a wet cloth and some laundry detergent (make sure to rinse them off good) once a week or when ever you star to notice the smell comming back... that%26#039;s what I have to do with my son%26#039;s sandals and shoes.. It works.. and if they are white use a bit of bleach
Reply:try cutting an Oder eater to fit, this will absorb the sweat and help keep them clean an smelling fresh. If someone ask why you have insoles in your flip flop, simply tell them so they don%26#039;t slip off. :) Good Luck
Reply:wash them and let them air dry, or in the sun. sprinkle some foot powder on your feet too......
Reply:You need to give them time to air out after wearing, wash your feet and add a light light lotion. Change up the flip flops don%26#039;t wear the same ones for days in a row.
Reply:This happens to me too. DON%26#039;T GET THEM WET! I never have smelly shoes in the winter, but when its sandal time, they have that embarrassing odor. My dad tied a pair of my sandals to the roof of the car on the way home from the shore one year.
Reply:If you are able to wash the flip flops then try that. If the smell persists, you will have to throw them away.
Reply:Alternate your shoes. You should wear a pair every other day.

I read that if you put your shoes in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer it will kill the germs. Not sure if this works or not.
