Cute sandals that buckle at ankle, am I too short to wear them?

There are all these new cute sandals styles that came out this season that go up to the ankle

I have heard that they make your legs shorter so if you have short legs you shouldn%26#039;t wear them. I tried a couple of styles and they were not flattering but I don%26#039;t know if it was that style in particular. Is there an exception to that rule? Maybe with certain clothes? please help I know I shouldn%26#039;t force an unflattering style but maybe you can help me.

I%26#039;m short too, and the trick is that you have to get them to have like a %26quot;v%26quot;, it%26#039;s elongating. You know like girls have a %26quot;vee-neck?%26quot; it%26#039;s like the same thing at the top of the sandals, it makes a line going down! =)
Reply:Wide [ 1/2 inch or more ] ankle straps do not flatter very thin, heavy, or short legs.


Try some narrow strapped sandals, like the ones on the serpent sandal - the skinny straps will work on everyone!


Avoid the %26#039;fat%26#039; straps, like the ones on the %26#039;ub%26#039; sandal.
